Friday, December 12, 2025 Snow overnight! Looks like we got about 1.5″. It stopped falling sometime after 7 am. Somehow its already begun to melt, even though its below freezing (30°F). A Sudden Cold Snap
I awoke to discover a light dusting of white powder and shortly thereafter, more snow began to fall. Tiny little flakes at first, then larger fluffy ones, swirling down out of the sky. I don’t know why, but watching the snow just makes me happy.

The Air is Cool
October 13, 2025 It’s a chilly Monday morning, still half-dark around 7:30 am. More fog over the river valley. The air has a weird unpleasant smell that I’ve always associated with some kind of pork or sausage factory. This city is known as “Porkopolis” after all. It could also be coming from a local brewery.
